Choosing your sauna and equipment
Find a layout and heating option that fit your space and your bathing ritual.
Which TYYNI model should I choose?
Start with how you want to spend your time and how much space you have on your plot. Mini has a single sauna room for 1–3 bathers. Its small size makes it suitable even for the smallest plots, and its compact dimensions help it heat up quickly. It is an excellent choice for those who value a small space and their time, while still seeking an authentic experience. TYYNI 8 is a better fit for sauna bathers who spend more time in the garden. The spacious sauna room seats up to 6 people. The small terrace is a lovely place to rest before a dip in an avanto — an ice hole. Leave your towel there and jump in! TYYNI 10 has the same sauna room as TYYNI 8. An enclosed entrance room opens up entirely new ways to use the sauna. You can sit comfortably, rest, or even add a refrigerator for your favourite drinks. TYYNI 14 is for the most devoted sauna enthusiasts: a large sauna room for 8 people, a washing lobby or changing room, and a generous relaxation room. It is a place to unwind with family or friends. This model is also an excellent option for anyone looking for a sauna for commercial use. If you are finding it hard to decide, contact us — we will help you choose a solution that suits your needs.
How much space does each model need on my plot?
The external dimensions of our saunas are: Mini — 2000 × 2000 mm, TYYNI 8 — 3500 × 2200 mm, TYYNI 10 — 4250 × 2200 mm, and TYYNI 14 — 6250 × 2200 mm. You also need an access path at least 1000 mm wide. Opening the door requires a clear manoeuvring area of 800 × 800 mm. Remember the safety distance required for a heater with a chimney: 6 metres from trees. Before preparing the ground, agree the foundation arrangement with us. We provide every customer with a detailed foundation drawing. The location of a sauna on a building plot is subject to technical building requirements. If you are unsure whether the building can be placed where you have planned, contact us — our architects will help you find the answer.
Electric or wood-burning: what are the options?
Electric and wood-burning heaters are available. The choice depends on your bathing ritual, the model and the utility connections available. Before agreeing the configuration, we will discuss a suitable heater and its installation requirements.
Can I choose the colour and finishes?
Yes. You can choose the exterior and interior colour from three standard options: black, ochre and natural. An individual colour from the manufacturer’s palette is also available for an additional EUR 300.
How many people can use each sauna?
Mini accommodates 1–3 bathers. TYYNI 8 and TYYNI 10 are designed for 4–6 people. The largest sauna, TYYNI 14, accommodates up to 8 people.
How long does the sauna take to heat up?
The heater output in each sauna has been selected to provide the right conditions inside the sauna room. With an electric heater, the room heats up in approximately 60 minutes. Heating time may vary depending on the outdoor temperature. A wood-burning sauna heats up in approximately 75 minutes. This depends on the quality of the wood and how the fire is prepared.
Can I change the layout or glazing?
The collection is based on four proven layouts. If you have specific expectations for privacy, glazing or the arrangement of rooms, describe them in your enquiry. Before you order, we will check the possibilities for a bespoke model in the TYYNI X series.
Does mirrored glass provide privacy and a sense of intimacy?
During the day, when there is no artificial lighting inside the sauna room, the window has a mirror effect: it reflects the surroundings while giving you a panoramic view from inside. In the evening, when you turn on the lights, the additional light source significantly reduces the mirror effect. Dimming the LED lighting can partly improve it.
Planning and delivery

How is a TYYNI sauna delivered?
TYYNI saunas are prefabricated and delivered as complete buildings. Transport, unloading and placement are planned for your location. We agree the delivery arrangements and any work needed on site before the order is finalised.
What access is needed to my property?
Share your delivery address and photographs of the access route and proposed sauna position. Let us know about narrow entrances, overhead obstacles and changes in ground level. This helps us assess how the building can reach its place and plan unloading for your site.
What needs to be ready before delivery?
Your sauna needs a suitable supporting base, clear delivery access and the connections required by its equipment. Share your site plan before starting groundworks. We can then coordinate preparation with the dimensions and installation requirements of your chosen model.
What connections will my sauna need?
Connections depend on the configuration. Electric heating and lighting need a suitable electrical supply; a shower needs water and drainage. Confirm the specification before arranging installation so the services match the equipment you have chosen.
Can I review drawings before preparing the site?
Yes. Begin with the model floor plan, then discuss the architectural and foundation drawings needed for your project. Confirm dimensions, supporting points, heater clearances and service positions before starting work on site.
How should ventilation and drying be planned?
Ventilation should be coordinated with the sauna and heater specification. Confirm how the vents are arranged and operated for your model. Keep air paths clear and follow the supplied instructions for ventilating and drying the room after bathing.
Ordering and ownership
Know what to expect when you enquire, order and begin using your sauna.
How do I request a quotation?
Use our contact form to share your location, preferred model and any ideas for finishes or equipment. If you are still deciding, tell us about your space and who will use the sauna. We can begin there.
What is included in the price?
Your quotation sets out the selected model, finishes and equipment. It should also make clear the delivery and installation scope, including unloading and placement, and identify any site work or services arranged separately. Review these details with us before confirming the order.
What is the current lead time?
Contact us for current availability. Timing depends on the model, configuration and delivery location. We will discuss a schedule for your project so you can coordinate site preparation with the arrival of your sauna.
How should I care for the sauna?
Care for the timber and equipment according to the instructions supplied for your configuration. Regular cleaning, thorough drying and maintenance suited to the finish are part of looking after your sauna. Follow the heater manufacturer’s guidance for safe use and servicing.
How do I look after the sauna between sessions?
After bathing, let the room and wet surfaces dry as directed in the care instructions. Keep benches and floors clean, using products suitable for the timber and its finish. These small routines prepare the space for your next visit.
Will the timber change over time?
Yes. Timber responds to light, moisture and use, and its appearance can develop over time. The chosen finish influences both its character and its care. We can explain what to expect from your selected surfaces and how to maintain them.
What warranty applies to my sauna?
Request the written warranty terms for your model and equipment before ordering. The structure, heater and other components may be covered separately. Check the scope, conditions and maintenance requirements as part of agreeing your configuration.
