Timber & structure
Walls and ceiling are formed from cross-laminated timber. The layers give the sauna its architectural form, while the visible grain brings the material into the bathing space. Variations in tone and grain are part of the character of natural timber.
Surfaces & seating
Timber benches seat up to eight bathers. An entrance lobby, a separate changing room and a sauna give each stage of your visit its own place. Bench finishes, the heater and other equipment are confirmed as part of your chosen configuration.
Glass & surroundings
Broad areas of mirrored glazing reflect the surroundings and connect the sauna room with the landscape. Daylight and views sit alongside the visible timber, bringing a sense of openness to the largest TYYNI layout.
